Wesley Perry

As Sol Dog Lodge’s Volunteer Coordinator, I connect people who want to make a difference with the dogs who need them most. I recruit, train, and support all of Sol Dog’s volunteers and fosters — helping each person find the right fit and feel confident in their role within the organization.

Before joining Sol Dog, I built my career in sales and marketing, where I discovered my knack for understanding people and building relationships. My volunteer work with SCORE — mentoring and leading workshops for small business owners — inspired me to bring my skills into the nonprofit world. That experience sparked a passion for helping others grow and succeed, and ultimately led me to Sol Dog, where I get to help strengthen our amazing volunteer community.

For me, this work is deeply personal. My mission has always been to give people the knowledge and support they need to be the best versions of themselves — and at Sol Dog, that means helping families keep the dogs they love in safe, happy homes.

I’m a big people person at heart and love meeting new faces, sharing ideas, and finding creative ways to bring people together for a cause.
