Mary T. Flores
Vice President
I have been a dedicated member of this organization since 2010, when I adopted my first greyhound and began volunteering with Arizona Greyhound Rescue (AGR). Today, I’m the proud mom of two greyhounds, Emily and Momma Mia. Over the years, I’ve played a pivotal role in retraining and rehoming greyhounds, managing key events, developing communications, enhancing web platforms, and supporting essential grant, fundraising, and strategic partnership efforts.
Originally from Washington State, I’ve lived and worked across the United States, and even spent two years on a business assignment in the Middle East. My professional background includes senior leadership roles in a variety of sectors—from the nuclear industry and municipal management to banking, real estate, and international accounting. I also bring academic experience from my time at the University of Arizona, where I served as an editor for a scientific journal and worked as a web developer for the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry.
My broad expertise, commitment to service, and passion for animal welfare continue to inspire my work on the Board, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this mission.
