In the past, I worked as an inflammatory research scientist with more than fifteen years of experience at a major pharmaceutical company. My background spans hematology, microbiology, immunology, and general medical laboratory sciences, with a strong focus on inflammatory processes and critical scientific research. I contributed to developing and validating laboratory assays, managing complex research projects, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to advance pharmaceutical innovation. My scientific experience includes hands-on work in experimental design, data analysis, and interpreting clinical research findings. This extensive background allows me to provide knowledgeable, thoughtful care for dogs and to work effectively alongside the veterinary community.
Seventeen years ago, I relocated to Tucson for health reasons and soon discovered a deep passion for greyhounds. Since 2008, I have volunteered with Arizona Greyhound Rescue (AGR), serving in a variety of roles and eventually becoming President of the AGR Foundation. Together with my husband Dan, I’ve had the joy of fostering more than 30 sighthounds.
