Board and Train Program

Our immersive Board & Train programs give your dog daily training, structure, and enrichment while living at our facility. If you’re overwhelmed by your dog’s behavior and struggle to make time in your busy schedule for regular training practice, these programs are for you. Let us take the frustration out of training for you and give your dog much-needed clarity and consistency to help them learn.

We offer:

2 Weeks – Basic obedience, manners, and household structure.
3 Weeks – Builds on the basics with real-world outings, proofing skills in a variety of settings.
4 Weeks – Recommended for more complex issues like reactivity, allowing time for targeted desensitization and behavior modification.

Owner Involvement:

Required weekly check-in lessons during the program.
A detailed go-home lesson to set you up for success.
Ongoing private lessons or group classes are often recommended for maintenance.

Please note: Dogs with severe reactivity or aggression may require private lessons before entering a Board & Train for safety.

Our Board & Train programs give your dog the benefit of daily, consistent training with a professional in a structured environment. This is an intensive learning program – not a “quick fix.” Board & Trains are great for starting fresh patterns, but follow-through at home is essential.
Our goal is to build reliable habits and give you the tools to maintain them.
All programs begin with a behavioral consultation to ensure the right fit and customize program goals to your needs

Program Options

2-Week Program – Foundation Skills
Best for: Dogs needing clear rules, leash manners, and impulse control.

What we work on:

Place command
Crate training
Leash walking with polite check-ins
Sit, Down, Stay, Come
Threshold manners (doors, gates, crates)
Intro to impulse control (food, toys, greetings).

3-Week Program – Foundation + Real-World Practice
Best for: Dogs needing more public practice, confidence building, or mild behavior concerns

What we work on (plus 2-week skills):

Practice commands in real-world settings
Polite public manners and off-site outings
Counterconditioning for mild reactivity or shyness
Leash neutrality around other dogs and people

4-Week Program – Patterning & Proofing
Best for: Dogs with more ingrained habits, mild-moderate reactivity, or trust-building needs.

What we work on (plus 3-week skills):

Reliability in varied locations with distractions
Outdoor recall practice
Calm, neutral greetings
Muzzle conditioning (if needed)
Early off-leash prep
Expanded manners in multiple contexts
